Privacy Policy
This policy explains how 12 in 14 Free My App collects and uses information when developers exchange Google Play closed-testing participation.
Information we collect
- Account information such as your email address, display name, Firebase user identifier and optional Google profile image.
- App listing content you submit, including app name, description, package name, closed-testing URL and icon.
- Testing activity, including assigned package names, installation source and app version, server-issued test sessions, 30-second foreground timer results, consecutive-day progress and missed-day compliance status.
- A Firebase installation identifier is hashed and used to bind verified testing to one app installation. The raw identifier is not displayed publicly.
- Wallet and entitlement records, including coins, rank points, upload slots, ad rewards and Google Play purchase tokens.
- Technical information processed by Firebase, Google Play Billing and Google Mobile Ads, such as device identifiers, diagnostics and advertising identifiers where those services are enabled.
Usage Access verification
When you start a timed test, the Android Usage Access permission is used on your device to check whether the assigned app remains in the foreground for 30 continuous seconds. We do not read screen contents, keystrokes or your general app history. Only the assigned package name, timer result, sample count, install source and installed version are sent to our Firebase service as testing evidence.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, publish app listings, coordinate testers, calculate internal progress, prevent reward abuse, provide purchased entitlements, maintain security and improve reliability.
Sharing and service providers
Active app listing details are visible to signed-in marketplace users. We use Google Firebase for authentication, database, storage and server functions; Google Play for billing and distribution; and Google Mobile Ads for rewarded advertising when configured. We do not sell personal information.
Data retention and deletion
Information is retained while your account is active and as needed for security, fraud prevention or legal obligations. You can permanently delete your account from Profile > Delete account. This removes your 12 in 14 profile, listings, assignments, test sessions, daily testing activity, wallet records, purchase records and uploaded app icons. The shared Firebase sign-in identity is retained so deletion cannot remove access to another app using the same authentication service.
See the account deletion instructions for more detail.
Security
Access is protected using Firebase Authentication, owner-scoped security rules and server-controlled wallet and purchase operations. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
This service is intended for app developers and is not directed to children under 18.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Privacy questions can be sent using the developer contact details shown on the app's Google Play listing.
